Commons Council Executive Board

The Cockrell-McIntosh Commons Council Executive Board is comprised of current CM residents that want to take on a leadership role within CM. The CM Commons Council in the governing body of CM, it is run by residents and advised by the RCD. Commons Council plans programs/activities, manages their own budget, and advocates for residents.


James Stine

James is a Sophomore double majoring in Engineering Management and Finance from Orlando, Florida.  James is an Eagle Scout and president and founder of Mustang Theme Park Design Club, an organization that prepares students of all majors for the themed entertainment industry.   He enjoys all outdoor activities such as camping, surfing, scuba diving, and sailing.  Most of all, James enjoys going to SMU boulevards with his friends from Cockrell-McIntosh.

Adam Christa

Beginning his second year at SMU and first year as the Vice President of Cockrell-McIntosh Commons, Adam hopes to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Vocal Performance. In his spare time, Adam loves singing with the Southern Gentlemen of SMU and working on projects in the Lyle School of Engineering. However, some of Adam's favorite activities involve playing ping pong and other games with his friends in the basement of CM.

Darcy Wyatt

Darcy is a sophomore from Meridian, Texas,  majoring in Biochemistry on the Pre-Med track. She is also a member of the University Honors Program. She is involved in IPDA Debate, Women in Science and Engineering, Fellowship of Christian University Students, and College Democrats.  Darcy can usually be found listening to music, reading, or watching The Office.

Kiley Hession

Kiley is a sophomore double majoring in Journalism and Sports Management and minoring in Business. She is from Mequon, Wisconsin (a suburb outside of Milwaukee) and will almost always be found hanging out on the third floor of Cockrell. She is involved with the women’s club lacrosse team, the news station, and the One Love club. She loves meeting new people, watching sports, finding new places to explore in Dallas, and traveling!

Sophia Bianchi

Sophia is a sophomore from Karnes City, Texas, majoring in Biological Sciences and Psychology and minoring in Neuroscience on the Pre-Med track. She is part of the Hilltop Scholar Program. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, hanging with friends, and hosting movie nights.

Sammy Waken

Sammy is a sophomore from Oklahoma City double majoring in Accounting and Health Management. He is involved in SMU Student Senate and Student Foundation and spends most of his free time “studying” on the bottom floor of Fondren Library or hanging out with friends on the third floor of Cockrell.
