Sarah A. Ballman
Sarah grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Go Blue), however she traitorously attended Michigan State University (Go Green) for her undergraduate years. While at Michigan State University she received a B.A. in Finance and a B.A in Telecommunications: Media Studies. After graduating Sarah headed to the west coast to attend the University of Southern California, where she received a M.A in Strategic Public Relations. During her time in graduate school, Sarah served as a Residential Coordinator for the USC department of Residential Education. In 2012, Sarah traveled to South Africa to work as a Special Projects liaison at the U.S Consulate in Cape Town, where she worked on a First Lady Michelle Obama visit. While living in Los Angeles she worked for a number of entertainment industry companies including Radiant Productions, Summit Entertainment, and Paradigm Talent Agency. However, in October of 2013 she made a career transition, joining the SMU Residence Life and Student Housing family. In addition, to her responsibilities as a Residential Community Director she serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at SMU, teaching Public Relations courses. In her spare time Sarah enjoys watching and discussing television and film (with literally anyone who wants to talk with her about it), debating political and social jusitice topics (again with literally anyone who want to talk with her about it), traveling, and totally nerding out and playing board games (Catan, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, Monopoly, etc..).
